Driven by the 'dual carbon' and home environmental protection policies, the bed and bedside table industry has fully entered the stage of green manufacturing. Since 2025, low formaldehyde content, no formaldehyde addition, renewable materials, and low-carbon processes have become the entry requirements for products. FSC certified wood, bamboo, recycled panels, water-based paints, metal frames, etc. have seen a significant increase in the usage rate of environmentally friendly materials, replacing traditional high-formaldehyde-risk base materials such as density boards and particle boards. At the production end, energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as recycling processes have been implemented to reduce VOC emissions and wood waste. At the consumption end, bed and bedside table products with environmental certification and recyclable features have seen a 15%-25% increase in premium prices. Health and environmental protection have surpassed price and style and become the core decision-making factors for consumers, forcing the industry to eliminate outdated production capacity and upgrade the supply chain system.
